Brenda Donahue
partner, group business director

Brenda has the keen ability to think strategically and creatively to help solve her clients’ most challenging business problems. Brenda’s current clients credit her for thinking as critically about the business as they do. Let’s just say the things that keep her clients up at night, also keep Brenda up at night.

Brenda joined Downtown Partners from The Richards Group in Dallas where she was responsible for the launch of Comcast Digital Voice and the rebranding of Comcast Business Class. She also managed Georgia-Pacific and successfully launched a home security start-up.

Before moving south, Brenda spent several years in the Chicago advertising community working on brands like Kellogg’s, Red Lobster and Northwestern Mutual for agencies like Leo Burnett, Euro RSCG and McConnaughy Stein Schmidt Brown.

Here at Downtown Partners, Brenda’s responsibilities include leading the Illinois Lottery business and managing our new business team. Previously, she ran Northern Trust, Seven Daughters and Lyric Opera of Chicago. She also grew up on a farm, in case you have any questions about proper cow tipping form.
